A WELL PRESENTED AND DETAILED 32FT:1IN. SCALE WATERLINE MODEL OF THE FULL-RIGGED STEEL SHIP BRITISH ISLES OF CIRCA 1884
modelled by R.A. Wilson with masts, yards with footropes, standing and running rigging, full suit of lined papers sails, 'violin' prow, deck rails, anchor winch, capstan, navigation lights, companionways, hatches, belaying rails and pins, deck house with cabin lights, two up-turned boats on racks, stove pipe, lifeboats in davits either dise of poop extension with binnacle, venitaltors, aft binnacle and helm and other details. The carved and plated hull with scored decks is finished in black and white and set on a moulded and painted seascape within wood bound glazed case with legend -- 17¾ x 8½ x 6in. (45 x 21.5 x 15.2cm.) Carry case, historical data.
