A BOUND ALBUM OF FOUDROYANT PHOTOGRAPHS, PRESENTED TO EARL NELSON IN 1905
card pages with copy of Abbots portrait and a history of the ship, thirty-six 2½ x 3¾in. annotated sepia-tone photographs, all but one depicting various aspects of the wreck, bound with tooled red morocco covers with marbled lining, the front embossed The Foudroyant; together with two manuscript letters to Earl Nelson from a Mr. Wiseucaw, the first a covering letter originally sent with the album as a gift, the second stating that further copies were available to family members at '£2:2:0' each -- 8 x 11¼in. (20.2 x 28.5cm.)
