A collection of linen napkins and hand towels, including a set of eight white linen damask napkins, woven with the Royal insignia--43 x 33in. (107 x 82cm.), late 18th century, accompanied by a note inscribed: '...the table napkins used on board the Royal Yacht-when it brought Queen Charlotte over to marry George III. They were the perquisite of the Captain of the R. yacht Sir Peter Dennis who gave them to Aunt Payne'.
