EAST CHINA Shantung - Anti Japanese War Base Bases of Resistance against Japan began to be established by the end of 1937. The "Armed Righteous Revolt" was led by refugee students from Peking and Tientsin. In 1938 the 115th Division of the Eighth Route Army entered Shantung and co-operated with the local revolutionaries in establishing other bases to fight the Japanese. In February 1942 the Shantung Wartime Postal Administration General Post Office was established in the I Meng Mountain area 1942 Second War-time Post
