An English delft blue and white wet-drug jar
probably London, of globular form with short knopped spout, named for S:VIOLAR: within a strapwork cartouche with a basket flanked by two birds above and a winged cherub's head suspending swags of fruit and tassels below, on a circular spreading foot, circa 1720 (spout with rim chips, knock and glaze chips, some glaze chips generally) -- 18cm. high
