printed, painted and gilt in the 'Imari' palette with flowering prunus, the border with flowersprays and stylised ornament reserved on alternate blue and iron-red ground panels, comprising: a shaped oval meat dish, a smaller shaped oval dish, two soup plates and two plates, printed marks; and an 'Imari' pattern soup plate, retailer's mark for Higginbotham.
