Group of Twenty Minature Figures incorporates many of the themes that Chadwick employed from the mid 1950s onwards. He firmly committed himself to figuration which is shown here in the number of coupled male and female figures, each expressed in individual poses, sitting, reclining, standing or walking. At first glance, they appear to be symmetrical but when viewed more closely one can appreciate the subtle features that each of the characters possess.
