the integral nozzles and drip-pans issuing from writhen scroll arms about a supporting circlet with open-scroll motifs, the central column with knopped intersections and applied with stiff-leaf ornament, on a quadrupartite open scroll base -- 65½in. (166.4cm.) high; and a pair of cast and wrought iron andirons, the standards each bearing the date 1561, above a sequence of fruit and mask pendants, foliage, birds and a milking cow to each, the arched feet with centralised masks, billet bars to the reverse -- 40¼in.
