probably from a bed valence, worked in coloured wools and silk highlights with a formal wooded landscape, divided by equally spaced fruit trees, the middle ground with a stag hunt, the foreground with a peacock, a reptile, a dragon, a peacock with fanned tail, a fox, a large reptile, a unicorn and a lion, placed in between the trees, interspersed with a variety of flowers, the trees with birds, squirrels, a monkey and owls--11½ x 50½in.
