AN ART DECO MULTI-GEM TABLE CLOCK, BY BLACK STARR & FROST
The front designed as lapis lazuli and carved jadeite doors, enhanced by black onyx Oriental motifs and rose-cut diamond corners, the sides of similar design, opening to reveal a lapis lazuli etched sunray dial with diamond-set Arabic numerals and carved jadeite trim, to the carved lapis lazuli top, with push-piece opening mechanism, supported by jadeite columns to the diamond-trimmed onyx plinth and lapis lazuli stylised bracket feet, circa 1925, 18.5 x 20.5 x 8.0 cm., with French assay marks, in its original Black Starr & Frost blue leather fitted case
