The 1997 vintage is considered one of their best of the decade. The quality of Cabernet from their Estate Mountain vineyard produced fruit with very stylistic, complex and spicy components. The addition of Merlot and Cabernet Franc and ageing in small French oak barrels round out to create a wine with outstanding aromas and flavours.
