Kornilov, within gilt rim, gilt borders with ciselé Imperial eagles and a shako over crossed swords and foliate sprays, between white bands, the base inscribed 'Sous-Officier, Tambour et Fifre du Reg.t de la Garde Ismailofsky', signed in Cyrillic by the artist, marked on base
