Circular, the centre painted with soldier and trumpeter of the Horse Guard Artillery by P. Schetinin, within gilt rim, the gilt borders with ciselé Imperial eagles and shako over crossed swords and foliate sprays, the base inscribed 'Soldat et Trompette de l'Artillerie à cheval-de la Garde.', signed by the artist in Cyrillic, marked on base
9 5/8in. (23.7cm.) diam.
