Cyrillic mark of Ivan Saltikov, Moscow, circa 1890
Comprising a bratina on high slightly spreading foot, eight cups of similar inverted shape, a ladle and a circular tray with gilded roundel fittings and shaped rims, all decorated with floral and foliate scrolls and rows of beading on stippled ground, with bands of foliate and floral decoration on turquoise ground, the body of the bratina decorated with four rosettes in circular floral and foliate borders, fully marked
the tray 20in. (51cm.) in diameter, the bratina 6 5/8in. (17cm.) high
