In the form of a standing figure of Neptune, standing on an octagonal pedestal and square base, with foliage apron and paw feet, Neptune with one arm resting on a scallop shell toothpick holder and with other arm aloft holding a trident

and another Portuguese silver toothpick holder, Oporto, 1818/36, in the form of a fountain, the lower tier with preening birds, the upper tier issuing a vase of flowers and with ball finial pierced for toothpicks, on circular gadrooned spreading base beneath a baluster stem and with four foliage and paw feet, 8in. (20.2cm) high
