A Minton majolica chestnut dish and spoon
the circular dish modelled with chestnut leaves and an open chestnut forming a half-cover, the rim moulded with leaves, with pierced well, the spoon moulded with overlapping leaves tied with a pale-pink ribbon, the bowl shape 594, impressed marks, date code for 1863 (small chip to inner footrim) -- 29cm. diam.
