emblematic of Winter from a set of the Seasons, modelled as four putti, wearing loose drapes, one carrying a bundle of sticks, the others warming themselves above a fire, on a mound base moulded to simulate snow, blue crossed swords mark, incised 2495. circa 1880 (some minor damages) -- 17cm. high
