1897 (2 Oct.) card sent from Shanghai to Wenchow, cancelled (on arrival?) by a fine strike of the Wenchow Dollar chop in bluish, the message was written on 1st October and reads, "New postal arrangements just come into force. So I send herewith a p.c. The new designs are very like the Japanese are they not?", fresh and very fine. Photo
