TWENTY-FIVE TEKE AMULETS
A pair of figures, perhaps a maternity figure, with thickly encrusted surface and bound with brass wire; a pair of figures linked with brass wire; two pairs of figures bound with cord; a figure bound to a slit gong; and sixteen various amulets, the majority suspended from cords, some suspending coins dated 1910-1925
The figures 5.5cm. to 10.5cm. high (22)
Provenance
A paper included with these amulets indicates that the figures came from Jerusalems Vänners Kristna Mission in Jönköping.

Christie's charges a Buyer's premium calculated at 20.825% of the hammer price for each lot with a value up to €90,000 (NLG 198.334).
