A wood netsuke of a wolf
Early 19th Century
carved seated holding down part of an animal, its eyes inset with coral, the mouth slightly open revealing the rows of teeth, incised signature to base -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) wide; and another wood netsuke of a hound resting its head and front paws on a large ball -- 1¾in. (4.4cm.) wide, (chip to ear on wolf).
