An ivory netsuke of an old man
18th and 19th Century
carved wearing long flowing robes carrying a basket -- 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of Hotei and a female in a boat -- 2½in. (6.3cm.) long; a stained ivory netsuke of a fruit spray with trailing stalk -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high; and an ivory netsuke of a large fish, its mouth open revealing the teeth -- 2in. (5cm.) long, (minor wear to all four), incised signatures to last three netsuke.
