A pair of coral ground cloisonne vases
Meiji Period
of slightly tapering square shape and flaring necks, decorated in various coloured enamels and silver wire with prunus trees, chrysanthemums and further flower blooms -- 6in. (15.2cm.) high; a pear shaped vase decorated with blossoming flowers and large leaves on a geometric dark navy ground, stamped Kumeno Teitaro signature to base -- 6 1/8in. (15.5cm.) high; and another dark navy ground pear shaped vase decorated with various coloured enamels and silver wire with a bird perched on bamboo branches above chrysanthemums and bands of geometric designs -- 8 3/8in. (21.2cm.) high, (minor bruises and rubbing).
