A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED WHITE MARBLE CLOCK GARNITURE

The cylinder clock movement striking on a single bell, with white enamel dial, with black Arabic hour and minute numerals, enclosed by a glazed door, surmounted by a winged putto supported by a floral chain held by a draped classical female figure, the bowfront base fitted with a gilt-on-copper panel cast with putti at play, flanked by pierced cast stylised rosette panels, on toupie supports; and a pair of two-branch candelabra en suite, each modelled as a winged youth with a quiver of arrows suppported over their shoulders, holding aloft two scrolling candle-brackets, on oval naturalistic base inscribed L.Bureaud. with stepped bowfront white marble bases and toupie supports
