Meiji Period
of baluster shape, decorated in various coloured enamels on silver foil with a fading turquoise blue and cream ground depicting three swimming fish, stamped Ogasawara Shuzo mark to base -- 7 3/8in. (18.7cm.) high; another similar vase of tapering form decorated with smaller goldfish, chrome rims -- 9¾in. (24.7cm.) high; a cloisonne tapering vase decorated in various coloured enamels with an egret standing in shallow water beside flowering reeds, on a light green ground -- 11 5/8in. (29.5cm.) high; a tapering square shaped cloisonne vase decorated with a swallow in flight amongst various flowering branches, on a speckled gold navy ground -- 12in. (30.4cm.) high; and a part wireless cloisonne box and cover, of rectangular shape, decorated with small boats before mount Fuji, on bracket feet, Ando mark to base -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) wide, (bruising to fourth piece).
