A Komai quatrefoil box and cover
Meiji Period
decorated in gold and silver with a flower cart set amongst rockwork and flowering plants on a riverbank, within a trailing foliate border -- 4¾in. (12cms) long, signature in gilt to base; and a mixed metal rectangular box and cover, with inset plaque, cast in slight relief with three monkeys, the sides ribbed -- 5in. (12.7cms) long, signed and sealed, seal to base.
