of rounded square form, painted and gilt with shaped panels of bijin, birds in flight amid bamboo, warriors and flower sprays on a blue ground reserved with scattered flowers and swirling motifs, all below a band of flowerheads -- 8¾in. (22.3cm.) high, signed, (signature rubbed, some gilt rubbing).
