A SET OF THREE GILDED CARVED-OAK WALL CARVINGS
19th Century
Comprising two side pieces and a horizontal, the top piece with a pair of love birds standing on ribbon-tied palms swagged with flowers and below fruit and flowers, further fruit and flowers to each side, the side pieces with three tiers of flowers and fruit on a flower-strewn ribbon, some losses to the extremities, now mounted on three grey-painted M.D.F. boards
The horizontal section: 77½ in. (197 cm.) wide; 20 in. (51 cm.) high; 7½ in. (19 cm.) deep;
The side pieces: 65 in. (165 cm.) high; 8½ in. (21.5 cm.) wide (3)
