AN ETRUSCAN GOLD FILLET
Circa Late 4th-Early 3rd Century B.C.
With a series of cut sheet stylized laurel leaves with raised medial ridges, attached along the length of a gold band, arranged in eight rows of four, all oriented toward the central rosette, with die-stamped semicircular plaques at each end, each with two figures, to the left a nude male with a mantle billowing, and to the right a man wearing a tunic armed with a shield, the ends perforated for attachment
