The plain oval box-bezel with a projecting rim and a suspension loop above formed from wire with voluted end, the bezel set with an onyx cameo with a white layer against a brown ground, carved in high relief with a boy riding a dolphin upon the waves, the boy seated on the dolphin's back, grasping its forward-curving tail in his right hand, the boy's head carved in a pale pink layer of the stone
