AN ATTIC FIGURAL OINOCHOE
Attributed to the Cook Class, Circa 500-475 B.C.
In the form of a woman's head with an oval face, a straight nose and rounded chin, her almond-shaped eyes and long curving brows in black, her hair black except for the curls on her forehead, consisting of four rows of applied clay pellets, a white wreath of laurel encircling the head, the black band at the bottom of the flaring neck suggesting the collar of a chiton or peplos, with a high black handle and a trefoil mouth
