Hellenistic Period, Circa 2nd Century B.C.
With two reclining female figures, a seated lyre-player, and a standing girl, the two reclining on an elaborate kline, with pillows below their elbows, one wearing a mantle over her shoulders and about her waist, her torso exposed, holding a two-handled vessel in her left hand, her right hand on the shoulder of the woman beside her who is wearing a chiton and holding a phiale in her left hand, her right hand on the shoulder of the lyre-player who is seated on the kline, her feet resting on a footstool, wearing a chiton exposing her left breast, a mantle draped across her lap, her lyre to her right, a girl standing to the left, wearing a chiton, her right arm to her chest and her left arm lowered, resting on a trumpet supported by a cylindrical drum, each figure with center parted wavy hair beneath thick fillets
