AN ETRUSCAN IMPASTO HOLMOS
Circa 7th Century B.C.
The openwork stand composed of three elements joined together, the bell-shaped lower portion decorated with cut out rosettes, with knobs at their centers, cut out lines in between, with three ridges above the flaring base, the central spherical element with U-shaped projecting spikes where it joins to the base and the upper conical portion, decorated with wavy lines traced with a finger, two ridges just below the mouth
