TWO CORE-FORMED GLASS AMPHORISKOI
Eastern Mediterranean, Circa Late 6th-5th Century B.C.
Including one opaque white in color, the conical body with rounded sloping shoulders, a rounded base knob, a cylindrical neck and inward-sloping rim, with opaque dark purple threads, now appearing black, wound spirally on the body, marvered and tooled into a zig-zag pattern throughout the body, with black on the rim and the edge of the base knob, the twin white handles extending from the shoulders to the neck; and one cobalt blue in color of similar form, with opaque yellow and turquoise threads wound spirally on the body, marvered and tooled into a zig-zag pattern on the middle of the body, with opaque yellow on the rim and twin cobalt blue handles extending from the shoulders to the rim
