Mars wearing a plumed helmet and cuirrass and sandles, one hand at his waist, the other holding the hilt of a sword, a flag and shield at his feet, Venus wearing flower-sprigged robes, modelled standing holding a posy, cupid at her side reaching for the flower, on scroll-moulded and gilt mound base, circa 1770 (some damages and repair) -- 27cm. high
