A Meissen blue and white oval sauceboat
the spout in the form of a bearded mask above arms resting over a belly, below a leaf-moulded scroll, the opposite terminal shell-moulded, the interior painted with the Zwiebelmuster, the exterior with sprays of flowers and scrolling leaves between flowerhead border and concentric lines, blue crossed swords marks and K, probably for Kretzschmar, circa 1740 -- 16cm. wide; and a white table salt, moulded with Brühlsches Allerlei, blue crossed sword marks, mid 18th century (a minor firing crack issuing a hair-line crack and tiny chips to the underside of footrim) -- 11cm. wide
