with a rectangular moulded breakfront top with an inset green, gilt, tooled leather panel, the frieze fitted with a drawer to the kneehole, flanked on one side by a writing slide above four graduated drawers and on the other by a writing slide above three various sized drawers, each pedestal with a cupboard door to the reverse enclosing two deep drawers on ogee bracket feet, stamped WHYTOCK & REID OF EDINBURGH -- 66in. (168cm.) wide, 30½in. (77.5cm.) high, 42in. (107cm.) deep
