A fine antique gem-set peacock brooch, by Gustave Baugrand
Designed as a sapphire, emerald, old and rose-cut diamond peacock with cabochon ruby eyes to the slightly articulated fanned tail feathers with heart-shaped ruby and emerald detail, perched on a button-shaped pearl, mounted in silver and gold, circa 1865, 7.8 cm. high
