The engraved oval case with bowed porcelain side panels, with Sèvres blue borders to reserves depicting an artist in Renaissance costume and a lady beneath a tree respectively, the dial with conforming borders and depicting a lady seated beneath a tree, a beseeching Cupid on his knees before her, the single barrel movement with silvered platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, with punched stamp for Drocourt to the backplate numbered 12339, with repeat number to the underside of the case
