Retailed by Le Roy & Fils, Paris, No.13828. Circa 1890
The cariatides case with filigree panels to the sides, front and rear door, cast with foliate openwork designs, with silvered Roman chapter ring and centre cast in low relief with leafy scrolls, blued steel hands, the single barrel movement with gilt platform to the bimetallic balance with lever escapement, numbered 13828 on the backplate and the underside of the case signed Le Roy & Fils Paris and with case number 516
