An Empire ormolu small chariot timepiece
Sean Huber, Schaffouse. First quarter 19th century
The case modelled as Diana in a chariot drawn by a deer, the wheel formed from a white enamel Roman dial, with blued steel hands, on oval base appied with a trophy mount emblematic of the hunt and rasied on four milled feet, the Swiss pocket watch movement with pierced and engraved bridge to the balance, signed on the backplate Sean Huber SCHAFFOUSE, with repeat signature and number 38396 to the rear cover
