The work is drawn on the reverse of an invitation to the opening of 'Introduction au surréalisme en Belgique' at Musée de l'Ancienne Abbaye in Stavelot on 3 June 1967. There is an inscription on the reverse from Georgette Magritte confirming the authenticity of this work
