The rectangular case surmounted by a classical warrior driving a chariot drawn by two stallions, on a plinth applied with relief mounts depicting a trophee, on claw feet, the circular dial with white-enamelled chapter ring signed LEPINE A PARIS, the later twin barrel movement with anchor escapement and outside countwheel strike on bell, the plinth partially re-gilt, lacking pendulum
