Inlaid overall with engraved foliate panels, husk trails and arabesques, the moulded octagonal top with rosewood veneer to the underside, above a square tapering shaft headed by a Doric capital and terminating in a gadrooned square plinth above a further hexagonal short shaft issuing three bold S-scroll legs, the capital and the base of the stem later, losses to the marquetry
