A Dutch mahogany cabinet
Late 18th Century
The moulded broken eared triangular pediment with dentilled edge, centring on a moulded square bracket with dentilled border, above a foliate carving, above two doors each with a cut-cornered panel hung with a ribbon-tied laurel swag and applied with an urn hung with laurel swags, enclosing a plain interior with three shelves and five drawers, flanked by fluted and stop-fluted demilune columns headed by gilt-metal capitals, the base with three long graduated drawers, flanked by fluted pilasters carved with laurel and acanthus, the apron carved with a flower-filled urn flanked by scrolling foliate sprays, on acanthus- wrapped block feet
