A 2 3/8-inch (6cm.) diameter terrestrial yo-yo globe, the two sets of twelve colour-printed gores and two polar calottes after those of L.Spies/A. Weinling & Cie, 1830, with the oceans in pale yellow, the continents in darker yellow and strongly outlined in blue, and Great Britain coloured red, the Greaves & Thomas crown stamp near the South POle, the two solid wooden hemispheres separated in the centre, each with a brass disc and between them the yo-yo string, arranged to separate entirely for removal of the string, and rejoin for display on the accompanying baluster-turned mahogany egg-cup shaped stand -- 4 3/8in. (11cm.) high
