The case with cresting modelled as a bacchic youth with goat seated beneath a shell, the lower section elaborately cast with fruit and rocaille, the silvered Roman dial with engine-turned centre, steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell, top section possibly associated -- 15in. (38.5cm.) high
