The case with floral mounts and alabaster columns to the sides, on plinth with classical figural relief mount signed DETLER, raised on four giltwood paw feet, the white enamel Arabic dial with calendar ring, pierced blued steel hands, pendulum regulation above 12, the triple barrel short-duration movement with silk suspension and strike on two gongs, with trip repeat, later gong stand, lacking rear door -- 21¼in. (54cm.) high
