A Regency mahogany and brass-mounted striking bracket clock, circa 1820
The case with stepped chamfer top with pineapple finial, ring side handles above silk-backed fishscale frets to the sides, with ripple-moulded galleries, lacking ball feet, the white painted Roman dial with re-painted or later signature HUNT & ROSKELL MANCHESTER, strike/silent lever above XII, the five pillar movement with shouldered plates, anchor escapement and strike on bell (lacking), trip repeat; rear door detached -- 18½in. (47cm.) high
