A GERMAN NEOCLASSIC LACQUERED GILT-BRASS MOUNTED MAHOGANY MIRROR
Circa 1800, originally a cheval mirror
The arched pediment centered by a winged nymph guiding a horse-drawn chariot behind a putti holding a star, the later plate within a pivoting surround set to either side by a serpent-entwined thrysus, the backplate inscribed in black ink F, lacking finials, with two detachable lacquered gilt-brass electrified candlearms
