A GROUP OF THREE VICTORIAN PAINTED AND PARCEL-GILT TOLE TEA CANISTERS
Second Half 19th Century
Each cylindrical with domed lids, one brown-painted with repousse decoration with the words TEA and LAPSANG painted withing reserves as medallions hanging fron a rope-twist, another brown-painted with the number 7 within a reserve, the last red and black-painted with the number 8 within an oval reserve
Variations in size, the largest 16½in. (42cm.) high, 9¾in. (25cm.) diam (3)
